Leica M7 – Spring flowers hunting with a film camera (Kodak Portra 400)

I did not realize how much nature means to me until recently. Of course, I always like to be in the nature which makes me feel peaceful. But I had a sudden realization that it’s a miracle that nature knows four seasons without relying on a calendar. We had extremely cold weather in Korea but somehow, trees were able to get ready for a spring season.

It seems like this miracle happens overnight. I didn’t see this a few days ago. Well, now I am dedicated to see things grow miraculously and take photos of them.

I like digital photos but I like it even better with film photos for flowers. Maybe spring and fall seasons are meant for film photography. Due to cold weather I take lots of photos indoors during winter therefore I used ISO 400 all the time, but soon I will be able to use ISO 160 PORTRA or EKTA 100 film for spring flowers.
