Leica Camera bag – ONA vs A&A

What is your choice for Leica camera bag? I have two requirements for my camera bag. First, it should be light as I always am attracted to heavy cameras. Secondly, it shouldn’t look like camera bag. Luckily there are several camera bags available to meet my requirements but unfortunately they are very expensive.

I managed to find one from ONA brand. Leather bag from ONA met my requirements except weight. It’s heavy. But it looks so fancy, also the price is not too crazy(it’s expensive but not as expensive as German.) Thanks to its fancy design, I had to give up on the weight requirement.

As I carry two M bodies (digital and film) most of the time, the above photo is what I carry daily.

After a few months, it has gotten to a point where I can’t carry it anymore due to its heavy weight with two Leica M bodies (Leica M body is very heavy unlike it’s light-weight look.) So I had to purchase another one from A&A. I’ve been a big fan of Artisan & Artist products for neck straps but they also make food camera bag.

It’s even smaller than ONA leather bag, but it holds more stuff and lighter than ONA bag. I still like ONA leather bag better in terms of design, but due to its heavy weight, I prefer A&A bag for daily use.

What is your daily Camera bag choice?
