I generally like black and white photography. But when it comes to snow, I definitely choose black and white over a color photo. First off, snow shines more with monochrome version. If background landscape has gray color, in a color photo, snow looks more gray than white. But in monochrome, snow will appear as pure white.
This was taken during last weekend. Finally winter came where I live. We got snowstorm, so I started shooting photos from home. At first, I shot with a color camera but at second thought,I started shooting landscape with Leica M Monochrom as snow shines in black and white mode much better.
