Generating new leads in one thing and doing business with Koreas is another challenges for foreigners as we have very unique business cultures. However unlike old days, generating new leads, you can do this via SEO(search engine optimization). This was absolutely impossible years ago as Koreas tend to develop new opportunities through personal connections.

You can definitely have a pleasant business meeting.

Years ago, if you want to promote your product to someone, you must have a personal connection for setting up a meeting. However, through NAVER SEO, now you can let your target customers find you. In this case, it’s rather easy to set up a meeting. What’s next?

.

First off, you must lead the business meetings as your Korean business partner or customers won’t show their interest from the beginning. If you can’t lead the meeting, you will end up beating around the bush with no way of find out what they really want!

.

Secondly, this is especially true with engineering companies, what Korean people really want is for you to do stuff for them without asking them continuously. In other words, even if you have well documented engineering manuals, customers call you instantly whenever they run into any issues.

Face to face engineering support is more important than quality softwares.

.

This might be very strange to most American engineering companies, but in Korea, customers call for you to show up at their office even if you can support them in remote places via email or online screen sharing, etc.

.

If you look at this carefully, what they really need is customer support experience as opposed to a quality product (especially true with engineering products(softwares).)

Evidently you must achieve NAVER SEO goal to generate new leads in Korea, but once you have this, next important thing is to have someone take care of your customer support experiences. You don’t want to be dragged down by your customers support requests but at the same time, you don’t want customers to be disappointed by your not showing up for a support at their office, either. So I say, it’s all about understanding business cultures properly.
